At Wasilla Physical Therapy you will work with the treating therapists, who will take a history to learn about you and the nature of your injury/condition. Following the history, the therapist will do a hands-on evaluation to find the tissue at fault and any contributing factors.
Treatment may involve different types of hands-on work (massage, soft tissue work, joint mobilization, myofascial release) and specific exercise. Your therapist will answer questions related to what activities you should or shouldn’t be doing during your rehabilitation. You’ll also be given home exercises to assist and hasten your recovery.
As a new patient, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out paperwork. Please bring your insurance information and/or card along with a photo ID. Or you can also download and print the PDF form by clicking here. and complete it prior to your appointment. This will expedite the process.
Your first physical therapy appointment and all appointments will be 55 minutes, 1-to-1 with the physical therapist. Loose, comfortable clothing is best. Tank tops are great if we’re working on shoulders and necks. Shorts are helpful if we’re looking at your hip, knee, ankle, or foot.
We look forward to meeting you!
